HOW WE WORK

Organic agriculture, ethics and science

At Sanaphar, we have chosen to adopt the principles of Organic Agriculture. We are currently operating within the conversion scheme (Bioagricert certification body).

We strongly believe that the union between life ethics and business management can be accomplished, and we do what we can to achieve this in our daily lives. Specifically, the production of aromatic plants (such as English and French lavender [Lavandula angustifolia and Lavandula stoechas], Helichrysum, Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Salvia desoleana, rosemary, myrtle, saffron, caper, mastic, juniper, laurel, fennel, cypress, and more) is combined with the production of a prestigious extra virgin olive oil, honey, wax and beekeeping products, including monofloral products.

The strength of our work is the scientific approach we have always taken to the study of cultivated plants. One of our main objectives is certainly to build a laboratory to study the infinite properties of endemic Sardinian plants and to host any research groups wishing to carry out microbiological analyses on a completely private and exclusive basis, taking advantage of our know-how and combining the research phase with a holiday. We live in the open air and work in a place that seems to have a lot of parallels with what has always been described to us as “Paradise”. We work the land with a highly scientific approach and alternate physical work with the study and management of niche tourism. This creates an exciting fusion of healthy lifestyle and scientific research.
